WHAT IS THE PROBLEM: 1 Companies and Individuals alike want quick fix solutions to their long term language problems (international communication). 2 Lack of Confidence in the language 3 Lack of understanding the communication cycle 4 Authentic personality is not able to be communicated in the language 5 Colloquial phrases are improperly used HOW DO YOU FIX IT 1 Stop being the hero of your own story. Your connections to people need to be genuine. When this happens, you will have communicated effectively. 2 Start with the end in mind - what does success look like when using the language? More business connections, more phone calls, more presentations, more small talk conversations. 3 Have a clear purpose, not a broad (and confusing) goal like: improve my English. 4 Manage your time (consistancy), know your specific language needs (ID problem areas) and apply systems that aid you in becoming a more productive and more effective language learner (Optimize, track, and measure the results of your efforts with a clear plan). 5 Rinse and repeat (often) :) NOW WHAT? I enjoy learning and sharpening my skills through trainings and seminars. On the weekends and free time you can find me at a local cafe enjoying the company of internationals. I enjoy reading books like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Frank Peretti, Sam Eastland, John Grisham and Ted Dekker. I like to grill out and drink ice cold Austrian Radler while traveling southern European cities.
